My partner Ahmed Al muhairy and I researched about the future project of The Eastern Mangrove. You can view our presentation video which is located in the bottom of this post. The video contain and idea about the future of the eastern mangrove road.

The project I liked the most was Saadiyat Island, which will lay in north east of Abu Dhabi city with area of 27 square kilometers. The project seems to be promised because it has many unique designs such as the Guggenheim, the Performing Arts Centre and The Sheikh Zayed National Museum.

The least interesting project was Bridge way at Zayed Sports City because it has largest sport stadium in the UAE it included which we already have one in Dubai Sport city, more sports cities in the UAE i think wasting of money becuase many people doesn't care about sport like me.

In conclusion the projects are unique with many special features such as the location and the design. The bad points in the projects it will cost too much money to build these projects, in the same time it will attract tourism. However this might be a problem in the future because there will be many crimes and Abu Dhabi becomes too crowded.

Cool City Comments

Good adaptations:

-Solar energy should help the city reduce the carbon dioxide from the air, Instead of

using oil to produce energy which will effect the city.

-transportation, there are three ways to transport in the city first the electric train, using the canal and solar ship. These method is rarely used in the modern cities which help the city to be environmental.

-The roof suppose to protect the people from the sun in the malls which filter the sun light and reduce the heat in the summer and make the weather natural.

Bad adaptations:

- the main source for the cities is the water to cool the cities, which cost more money to pump fresh water in the air to reduce the heat. However this might cost problem in the future with water shortage in the area.

- the economic side, this cities cost a lot of money which effect the country economy. This cities not for all people because imagine how much each residents should pay?

- might be impractical since it is for business and there are some places are not included such as municipality and other Government departments.

My Carbon Footprint: Problems & Solutions

Carbon foot print is a measure of human activities on the earth and natural resources comparing with there uses on the earth capacity. I scored 2.33 which mean I need 2.33 planets to live in and support me. This score is not low because I used more than the earth capacity which mean this will affect the nature of the earth. There are several solution to reduce my foot print score which should help the environment.

First I scored highly in stuff section with 33% because I own pets which I spent my money to purchase food for them and I have power tools too. The second part of my foot print is the home with 32% I used to live in villa with my brothers and sisters which make my score high. Another fact is Food we all eat food but I eat meat often. I got lowest score in the traveling but still effect the environment.

Some solution may reduce my foot print in the future. First is to reduce my budget in stuff such as electronics products and pets. Second I have to do some recycle like recycling juice bottle and other things. Last solution is to eat vegetable more than meat to be healthier.

In conclusion I shocked when I saw my score because I thought, I will get less score than other people in the world.

An Inconvenient truth : evaluate

The movie was the best movie I have ever seen before this year; I enjoyed watching it with my class mate from the beginning until the end of it. Al Gore dose great job presenting evidences of global warming, he includes some good material such as Charts, animations and some video clips from his life. He brought true information from the past and Present, His way in attracting audience was great. In addition, he moved step by step and trying to make us want to know what hidden in the next slides.
Al Gore was confident about his topic that he knew what to say.

Finally, he spoke about his personal life, his son death from accident and his sister death of lung cancer; those things change his life as a politician. These points that he noticed had added good feelings for audiences because it might happen from global warming and cause a big damage.

An Inconvenient truth : summary

In the movie “An Inconvenient truth” Al Gore and his journey to educate the people of the climate change. Gore says, "I've been trying to tell this story for a long time and I feel as if I've failed to get the message across." The film made after the keynote meeting in 2006. He outlines some solution to the problem.
He explained data and information about climate change. Al Gore’ sister dead from lung cancer and his young son dead from car accident. Therefore, his life changed dramatically and let him explain the global warming. He thinks climate change will generate greenhouse gases that is associated to economic which effect the global warming. He showed us much true information from the past and today with the big gap between them. The CO2 increases rapidly every year with temperature increasing. The film showed us some experiments on Antarctica. There will be many problem such as melting ice and rise in the sea level.
Al Gore give us some solution to reduce the effect of global warming. One main solution is releasing less CO2 and using different recourse such as electricity and renewable sources.
Overall, we have all to work hard together to solve this problem as soon as possible.

Critical thinking

Critical thinking is a level of processing to analysis and evaluation. It includes possible processes of evidence and information in order to form a solid judgment to reach the solution. The HIERARCHICAL CLASSIFICATION shows"Bloomi TAXONOMY" of the stages of thinking which contain six points each point progresses increasing from easy to difficult. Each point completes the other point. The pyramid start base with knowledge and progressing increases Critical thinking is useful only in those situations where human beings need to solve problems or make decisions. Success in human life is connected to success in learning, it is used with people who has to think, like student, parent, nurse, doctor and teachers who have responsibilities.This thinking is high level, it needs processes to think. It is in many fields.
